Role Description
This is a full-time, office based role for a Mechanical Estimator at City Mechanical Ltd.
As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating costs and creating project proposals for mechanical services.
This includes analysing project requirements, conducting site visits, collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors, and preparing accurate cost estimates.
Additionally, you will be involved in project coordination, ensuring timely completion within budgetary constraints.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and experience in air conditioning, plumbing and pipefitting, ventilation and ductwork, and thermal insulation and trace heating
Familiarity with underfloor heating, boiler rooms, low temperature hot water (LTHW), chilled water (CHW), commissioning and balancing, controls, and crane lift
Proficiency in estimating costs and creating accurate project proposals
Ability to analyse project requirements and conduct site visits
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Experience in project coordination and management
Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical services or engineering
