Mechanical Estimator

Job Role: Mechanical EstimatorArea: WatfordSalary: £55k - £65kMy client is looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join their growing team, based in Watford.Responsibilities:Using drawings and specifications to produce competitive tenders.Producing complete mechanical estimates using estimating software.Ensuring that all bids submitted are technically correct and commercially accurate.Producing tender packages for subcontractors and reviewing returned documents.Involvement in finalisation and adjudication of tenders including value engineering suggestions.Production of Schedule of Rates for each successful tender.Liaising with Commercial teams to review tender documents.Provide necessary clarification on proposed attendances, contract terms to limit commercial risk.As required represent the company in negotiations and meetings.Site surveys and attend internal project handover meetings.Assist and support project management teams and processes.Compliance with all Health & Safety and Environmental standards and legislation.Ensure that successful bids are handed over to PMs, ensuring their full understanding of the project.Identify risks and opportunities within a tender.The ideal candidate will be:Experience with Ensign would be an advantage.Minimum of 5 years industry experience.OND/HND/DEGREE Building Services/Mechanical or a related discipline or equivalent experience.Full UK driving licenseThis role is being handled by Chloe and Samantha, PW Construction Recruitment .Please apply with your CV or alternatively call 01732795101 or email / for more information.Not quite the right role but still looking?Whether you are entry or Executive level, our team of experienced Recruitment specialists can help you with your career.
