With a manufacturing facility near Wakefield (which you will work from) and an overseas design office (which you will visit, but not be based out of) your role as R&D Project Manager will be to liaise between the two and ensure that designs from overseas are manufactured correctly in the Wakefield plant. You will need to be comfortable reviewing engineering drawings and BOMs are fit for purpose when released to the manufacturing team, and have previous experience of providing technical support to production, assembly, test and quality teams involved in product manufacture.
