We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at a well-established production and distribution company located near Huddersfield town centre.�This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our dynamic team and play a key role in our operations.

Salary and Shift:

• �17.84 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay and enhanced rates for overtime


• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional Saturday mornings required for overtime

Responsibilities:

• Repairing conveyor systems, production lines, pumps, and hydraulics


• Conducting general maintenance of production and packaging machinery


• Performing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on machinery


• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment


• Expertise in repairing and maintaining conveyor systems, production lines, and hydraulics


• Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance practices, including PPM and reactive maintenance


• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues efficiently


• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to health and safety regulations.
