Mechanical Engineer – Hybrid- Permanent- Competitive Salary
Due to expansion, our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join their Decommissioning team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a vital role in providing project and technical services, ensuring the successful delivery of assigned projects within cost, technical, and HSE constraints. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and external clients to contribute to winning business and development elements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Successfully deliver assigned projects within cost, technical, and HSE constraints.
Provide relevant input into winning business and development elements as required.
Offer engineering technical advice across all parts of the company’s UK business.
Author and verify technical reports for internal and external purposes.
Produce technical proposals supporting contracts and tenders.
Conduct projects and tasks as allocated, ensuring SQEP requirements are met.
Assist in workload forecasting and manpower planning.
Ensure timely and budgeted delivery of project scopes, maintaining focus on quality.
Review existing applications and recommend technical improvements.
Ensure compliance with UK Management Systems.
Communicate effectively and collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
Originate or contribute to engineering documents and design deliverables.
Qualifications:
BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering - Essential
Incorporated or Chartered Engineer with IMechE - Desirable
