Location: Telford, TF2
Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000
Our client, a global engineering firm, is actively seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their highly skilled team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment.
Mechanical Design Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Transform conceptual ideas into refined, finished products.
Adhere to project timelines for efficient delivery.
Develop detailed 3D designs and technical drawings.
Generate comprehensive working drawings, detail drawings, and bills of materials.
Collaborate closely with fellow team members to achieve holistic solutions.
Possess knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Engage in collaborative design reviews and analysis.
Enhance tooling to optimise performance.
Ensure designs are manufacturable.
Mechanical Design Engineer Background Requirements:
Minimum HNC/Degree qualification or equivalent
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities
Previous experience within a similar design department role
