Salary: �35,000 - �45,000

Are you a talented Mechanical Design Engineer? Look no further! Tec Partners Recruitment are seeking a key player to contribute to our clients existing product development and oversee subcontract manufacturing. You'll join them in collaboration of cutting-edge life-science instrumentation, contributing to R&D, and optimizing designs for efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Designing precision/micro level components and assemblies.
• Selecting materials, manufacturing processes, and suppliers.
• Creating logical assembly drawings for complex sub-assemblies.
• Developing test rigs and fixtures for prototyping and testing.

Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in CAD (Solidworks) for design and assembly.
• Experience with different materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Proactive with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Nice to Haves:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, quality, or design engineering.
• Interest in Biology, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.
• Knowledge or experience with Mechanical, Optical, Microfluidic, Pneumatic, PCB components, and assemblies.
• Experience with milling machines, lathes, power tools, and electronic soldering.
• Occasional travel may be required.
