Job Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary:£55k - £60k
My client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the Design Manager. It is essential you have experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing the technical mechanical design of assigned projects.
Produce MEP designs, calculations & specifications using relevant software provided.
Monitor the production of drawings to ensure timescales are met & QA once complete to ensure technical accuracy & consistency.
Undertake initial design site surveys, including use of Lidar scan to capture all relevant information for CAD draughtsman & internal design team to utilise throughout design process.
Produce energy modelling assessments and presentations as required.
The ideal candidate will be:
Produce energy modelling assessments and presentations.
Experience in relevant design software, such as Revit, Hevacomp, AutoCAD
Understanding of current Building Regulations & accredited services: CIBSE, ASHRAE
Ability to plan & prioritise workload to meet deadlines
