Mechanical Design Engineer

An exciting and industry changing company focused within the pipeline sector is currently hiring for a mechanical design engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time role based within the Teeside area and has the potential for hybrid working. Do you have strong experience with valves and sensors and want to join a team to utilise your talent to the fullest. You will benefit from a starting salary of up to �50,000pa (depending on experience).

As Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Design and development of new and existing products.
• Utilising CAD (SolidWorks or Inventor)
• Applying the principles of mechanical and product design
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement changes and design solutions.
• Produce high detailed drawings for fabrication and assembly.

To be a successful Mechanical Design Engineer you will have:

• Experience as a Design Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer.
• Qualified to degree level in either design engineering, mechanical engineering, product design, industrial design, or related field, master's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in valves, pipeline or similar
• 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• 3D CAD (such as SolidWorks or Inventor).
• Ideally FEA or CFD experience with fluid flow dynamics

In return, you will receive an excellent benefits package which includes:

• �45,000 to 50,000 per annum.
