Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client is a well-established and fast growing manufacturing specialist of components across a broad range of industries. Due to a strong order book, we are seeking a forward-thinking Mechanical Design Engineer�to join a talented�team.

Reporting to a Senior Technical�Manager, you will play a crucial role in product design and development activities. As a mechanical design engineer, you will be involved in almost the full life cycle, from ideas/concepts through to prototypes and production. Solid�mechanical design engineer and drafting experience�is essential. Full training will be provided where necessary.

Key Responsibilities for tthe Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Produce and update manufacturing drawings�


• Participate in new product design and development initiatives.


• Assist in designing and developing test fixtures.


• Conduct development testing to support new product design and product improvement activities.


• Prepare test reports based on the conducted tests.


• Aid in the production of prototype parts and samples.


• Contribute to process development efforts.
