Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for Mechanical Design Engineers in Worcester. Our client is an established designer and manufacturer of specialist flow equipment. They supply clients in the automotive, offshore, chemical, energy and nuclear industries alongside many more.

The Role: �

• Mechanical Design of specialist equipment


• Managing small projects and working to tight timescales


• Be responsible for the design, detailing and component specifications in support of the project team


• Ensuring timely, safe and cost-effective Design for Manufacturing (DFM) for customer/international specifications.


• Preparation of design drawings and 3D models by design standards.


• Bill of materials documentation and management


• Liaison with the design team, shopfloor (DFM) and suppliers during the project design stage


• Any reasonable task requested by Senior Management

The Candidate:

• Qualified Mechanical Engineer (HNC or Degree)


• Experience of rotating machinery


• Knowledge of hydraulics and electro-mechanical control systems


• Experience working on manufacturing projects with heavy equipment


• Working knowledge of Solid Edge, SolidWorks or similar 3D design software


• Full clean driving licence
