Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our key client in Newark on Trent.
The ideal candidate will be someone with 1 to 2 years' experience in a CAD design role or as a CAD Draughtsperson with experience using Inventor or Solidworks and AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake 3D sketches and modelling designs using Inventor from concept to final submission for multiple projects
• Carry out modifications on existing designs to suit customer needs and create new ones
• The Junior CAD Design Engineer will be doing 2D Layout and Schematic drawings in AutoCAD
• Assist with proposals, manuals and have a design input on project preparation for tenders

Key Attributes:

• Experience using Inventor or Solidworks 3D and AutoCAD 2D is essential
• Any experience working on products made using Sheet metal, Steel, Metal fabrication or similar would be highly beneficial.
