We are working with an award-winning company that has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. The company is a leader in providing automated solutions to the packaging industry. They are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Roles of the Mechanical Design Engineer: -

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Develop designs for robot cells, end-of-arm tooling, and Conveyors and Feeders within the cell.
• Create comprehensive assembly drawings for customised equipment with meticulous detail.
• Offer assistance and support to the production and installation team as needed.

Requirements of the Mechanical Design Engineer

• Previous machinery design experience
• Proficient in 3-D modeling software and 2-D AutoCAD.

• Understanding of mechanisms involving bearings, pneumatic systems, and electric motors.
• Experience with servos, sensors, materials, finishes, and structural design.
• Familiarity with robotic cell design and safety standards.
