JOB- Mechanical Design/Development Engineer
LOCATION- Northampton
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- �40,000 to �50,000 per annum
My client design and develop a range of special purpose products going into the automotive, aerospace, oil and gas sectors, and more! They are looking to expand their Development team by taking on a Mechanical Design and Development Engineer to work in their offices in Northampton.
Required Skills:
- At least a 2.1 in an Engineering-based Degree
- Between 3 and 5 Years Industry Experience - Aerospace, Automotive, Oil and Gas
- Strong CAD Experience - SolidWorks
- Strong FEA Experience - ANSYS, Workbench or SolidWorks
- GD&T Experience
Duties:
-�Creating CAD Designs
- Collaborate with manufacturing team - liaising during assembly and testing stages
- Liaise with suppliers regarding equipment, materials etc
- Conduct testing
- BOMs and product costing
- Concept brainstorming
