As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanical Contracts Manager to join our team.



Role Overview: As the Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical contracts within the commercial, healthcare, and education sectors. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems will be vital in ensuring the successful delivery of projects while meeting operational and commercial objectives.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage and oversee multiple mechanical contracts simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Collaborate with project teams to plan and coordinate the execution of mechanical works, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to maintain smooth operations and mitigate risks.

  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and client satisfaction.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project teams, assisting in resolving complex engineering challenges.

  • Work closely with the commercial department to prepare and review budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports related to mechanical contracts.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and statutory regulations throughout the project lifecycle.



Requirements:




  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager within the commercial, healthcare, and education sectors is essential.

  • A strong background in mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, with a comprehensive understanding of the industry's best practices.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Sound commercial acumen and experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for mechanical contracts.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding solutions.

  • Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field are highly desirable.
