Mechanical Associate

This Mechanical Associate position will see you joining one of the leading practices in the fields of biotechnology, defence to chemical and pharmaceuticals working from central London offices.
You'll be leading a team of engineers ranging from those at the start of their career to others working at Senior and Principal Engineer level; the practice is blessed with having a strong team structure in place.
Your role as Mechanical Associate will be to lead the mechanical input into multi-discipline schemes working to sometimes complex and highly regulated briefs.
Familiarity with all stages of design from feasibility through to handover is essential as is fluency of UK design regs and standards; the employer is specifically looking for someone with 15 years working as a Mechanical Design Engineer and is either working at Associate level, or is a Principal and ready for that next step.
You will need to be London based, Chartered with CIBSE, or actively working towards it, comfortable with high level involvement on large schemes and contributing to bids.
Due to the nature of the work that the practice carries out it is essential that you are willing and able to obtain security clearance including airside work.
