Mechanical Assembler/Fitter

• £11.66 - £12.73 per hour


• Monday to Friday 40-hour weeks

We are working with a long-standing client of ours based in Wythenshawe who are experts in the aviation industry who are looking for a Mechanical Assembler/Fitter.

The Job

• Repair aircraft seats in accordance with worksheets.


• To be able to interpret technical manuals/engineering drawings.


• Ensure planning/job-progress updates are provided.


• Together with Planning/Management; flag up any design queries and deal with queries.


• To be available for occasional ‘away from base’ trips both in the UK and abroad

About you

• Have experience in a mechanical background or experience using hands tools


• Have a proven engineering background (Training will be given where required)


• Be able to demonstrate good verbal communication.


• To be able to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines.


• Have the ability to work away from base as and when required
