MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL TECHNICAL OFFICER



POSITION : Mechanical and Electrical Technical Officer



LOCATION : Commutable from Birmingham, Kidderminster, Coventry , Worcester, Leicester, Stratford, Stafford



SALARY AND BENEFITS : �43,080 plus 18% pension ( 13% employer / 5% employee)



THE ROLE :� This is a great opportunity to join our Public Sector client to provide key Mechanical and Electrical Building Services�technical advice across a large and varied estate across the UK.� There will be a focus on statutory and mandatory estate compliance, including Legionella, Asbestos, Gas , Electricity, Fire and Fuels.� The role is to assure that technical standards are maintained for all Core and Billable works delivered by the industry partners.�



You will work collaboratively with the Facilities Management industry partners to deliver a technically compliant estate, formulating approaches and plans to continually improve compliance.



This is a hybrid role that will typically involve working the office 3 days.� Candidates also need to be aware that there will be regular travel with a small number of nights away being likely each month.





YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING :




  • Significant previous experience working in a technical role covering Mechanical and Electrical Building Services in a Property/ Estates/ Facilities environment

  • Experience of monitoring Hard FM service delivery compliance

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of different stakeholders

  • The ability to write / contribute to technical M&E related reports on Estate / Property related issues

  • The skills and experience to act as a subject matter expert for Mechanical /Electrical/ Building Services related discussions

  • Hold Professional accreditation at at least Incorporated Engineer level from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) or similar professional body relevant to electrical or mechanical technical competency.�
