The Role:
As an Aircraft Technician, youll find yourself in a role thats far from ordinary. Youll leverage your experience and skills as a Mechanical Technician to undertake a variety of detailed maintenance activities on aircraft and their components.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Completing depth maintenance and diagnostic activities on aircraft or components, including scheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications.
Analysing and diagnosing faults, applying your expertise to effect repairs or suggest improvements.
Maintaining personal task competencies and ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
This is a full-time role based onsite at RAF Valley.
Essential Experience:
Trade Principles training
Computer literacy
Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, preferably in Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent military qualifications.
Academic qualification such as City & Guilds 2675 Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or NVQ Level 3 in an Aeronautical-related discipline.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
