We believe that as a materials manager, you'd be hard pressed to find a more interesting and impactful problem to work on. We'd love to hear from you if you think you would enjoy:
Collaborating with R&D/production to determine supply needs / forecasting future order timelines
Controlling inventory levels and ensuring availability of materials for production systems
Resolving labour and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions
Managing our BOMs & ensuring they accurately represent the cost of producing Mytos products
Identifying and implementing cost/lead time saving opportunities
Purchasing supplies and materials according to specifications
Coordinating and supervising receiving and QC/kitting procedures for production parts
Building/maintaining relationships and negotiating with suppliers (new & existing)
Keeping detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc.
Managing payments for orders, ensuring suppliers are paid on time every time
You Bring:
At least 5 years experience as a materials manager in fast paced environments
A strong continuous improvement mindset & demonstrated history of driving cost/lead time efficiencies in organisations
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent organisation & time management skills
Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems
Understanding of forecasting and budgeting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in shipping and receiving
BSc/BA in logistics or similar relevant field
