Expires on May 1, 2023 About the roleFutures have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Materials Manager on behalf of a leading, global, billion £ FMCG business who are well-known in the market for its market-leading products that we all use day to day!The company will invest in the development of this role, equipping you with the key skills for the present and ensuring you have a fulfilling, long-term career.Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the materials within the manufacturing site are safe, approved, monitored and driven actions are put in to prevent the reoccurrence of poor quality materials. You will work alongside the Site Technical Manager to drive performance both at the site and collaboratively with the other sites across the UK.You will be responsible for:– Leading on the business raw material portfolio– Manage a team of 4 with a larger team of indirect reports– Leading the businesses packaging portfolio– Develop and implement a robust and audit-ready raw materials management system on a weekly basis– Support NPD, procurement, process development, operational, planning and quality teams on site with the raw material management– Develop and grow the raw materials team to meet the demand of the business now and in the futureKey Skills and Experience Required:– Minimum of 2 years experience working with Raw Materials, ideally within food manufacturing– Experience in managing or supervising teams– Ability to communicate with Internal and External Senior Stakeholders– Experience with requirements for BRC and customer standards– Excellent knowledge of MS OfficePlease apply for more info on this amazing opportunity!Copyright 2023 Futures - All Rights Reserved.
