Materials and capacity planner

Job Description
Our established client is looking to recruit for a Capacity / Material planner to organise production according to demand and quality standards. You will need to demonstrate a full understanding of customer expectations with an awareness of the impact that poor product quality has on customer trust and company’s reputation.
Duties:
production workflow for one or multiple products via capacity planning & lead time systems.
the build schedules for all assembled manufactured products in line with customer requirements.
manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
to the production plan weekly, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and best production efficiency working with current systems.
integration to support material planning activities.
production builds to satisfy customer demand & avoid productivity stoppage.
purchased part/material rescheduling requirements with relevant buyer and confirm delivery dates.
up to date with supplier performance and discuss with Purchasing Team Leader on a weekly basis.
and submit status and performance reports.
Skills
about the team and able to anticipate issues and problem solve in a fast-paced changing environment.
versed in production procedures and ways to optimise them.
and results driven with great problem-solving skills.
knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
understanding of manufacturing processes
knowledge of MS Office and systems
at math and statistics
