Material Planner

OA are currently working with a globally recognised brand to join their growing team as a Material Planner. You’ll be overseeing the purchasing of ingredients and managing inventories to ensure resources are available to meet the demands.St Albans, Hybrid Working08.30am – 4.30pm, Monday – FridayPermanent contractMaterial Planner - Main Duties:Manage raw materials for external co-manufacturersCoordinate with international central purchasing for order monitoringProvide forecasts for supply contract negotiationsEnsure timely delivery of sales orders to co-manufacturersFacilitate global raw material importation for distributionHandle customs clearance and shipping documentsMaintain monthly raw material forecastsConduct stock reconciliation and review safety stock levelsGenerate and analyse stock-related KPIsParticipate in monthly S&OP process and manage supplier relationshipsNumerical reasoningAnalytical abilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsAt least 2 years FMCG experience ideally gained within the food industryAdvanced IT skills including Excel (SAP experience would be advantageous)If you are interested in this position, please apply online with your CV.WGCCOMMPERMEstablished in 1995, Osborne Appointments is an independently owned recruitment agency specialising in the supply of temporary, contract and permanent placements.
