Starting Salary: �25,000 - �31,500

As a Material Controller your responsibilities will include the maintaining of the manufacturing plan spreadsheets to ensure accurate production build capacity using Master Production Schedule (MPS) and action Materials Requirement Planning (MRP). What You'll do:

As a Material Controller, you will:

  • Maintain an achievable MPS to give best response to sales order requirements and advise Materials Control manager of any "due date" issues
  • Process all MRP recommended works order actions
  • Take responsibility for progress of work, liaising with Purchasing, Machine Shop and Assembly areas as appropriate.
  • Provide assistance to the Purchasing Department by progressing purchase orders as and when requested by Materials Production Scheduler.
  • Ensure Manufacturing Plan spread sheets are accurate and updated on a daily basis.

What We're Looking for:

  • Proven experience of working within a similar Stores environment
  • Solid experience within materials, logistics or supply chain gained within a Manufacturing Environment
  • Experience of working within a "lean" manufacturing process would be advantageous.
  • Computer Literate - Word and Excel
  • Stock control methods, MRP/ERP Systems

  • Full training is provided at every step
  • The hours for this role are on Days (07:30-16:30 Mon-Thu, 07:30-12 Fri)
  • Substantial overtime available on evenings and weekends once fully trained
