About the Role:
Randstad is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced MASH Social Worker to join our team in North Tyneside. This role involves working within our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) to assess and respond to concerns about the welfare and safety of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families referred to the MASH.
Gathering information from multiple agencies and sources to inform decision-making.
Identifying risks and safeguarding concerns and taking appropriate action to address them.
Collaborating with partner agencies, including the police, health services, and education, to coordinate support and interventions.
Participating in strategy discussions and contributing to multi-agency meetings.
Providing support and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies regarding safeguarding issues.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with registration.
Experience working in a MASH or similar multi-agency setting.
Strong assessment and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a demanding caseload.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding.
