Marketplace is a brand-new online venture for Tesco, designed to give our customers the opportunity to use our website to shop for a wide range of third-party products in addition to the groceries they already know and love. Our initial focus will be on pet food, health and beauty products and alcohol, and as with other online marketplaces, sellers will fulfil orders directly. Join us on this exciting new journey, and you’ll be a key member of a hardworking, collaborative team that’s delivering on our promise to serve our customers, communities and the planet a little better every day.As a Marketplace Onboarding Executive you will be crucial to our ability to help onboard & support third party sellers onto the Tesco Marketplace platform, to drive scalable growth by optimising and improving our product assortment.Marketplace is a key pillar of our strategy to be 'Easily the Most Convenient' grocer, offering our customers the opportunity to shop a broad range of 3rd party products, alongside their core grocery basket, seemingly on Tesco.com. To support with building Marketplace, we are in need Online Executives who will help bring our strategy to life.Does this sound like an exciting role to you? If so, we would love to hear from you! We are especially interested in hearing from you if you have experience in working in an Online and/or Multichannel/Omnichannel Environment, especially Retail.You will be responsible forDeveloping and demonstrate sound technical and business understanding the new platform and what is needed to maintain a high bar for our customer experience on-siteUse this knowledge to educate and support sellers to successfully launch and maintain their business on the platformMonitoring quality of Marketplace and identifying areas of improvementEstablish and maintain audit processes for marketplace listings, ensuring sellers are adhering to guidelinesEstablish critical metrics for quality and build a regular reporting process to monitor these metricsIdentify areas of improvement and opportunities for continuous development of the Marketplace propositionBe the subject matter authority for seller on-boarding and Marketplace catalogueWork with partner teams (CEC, product/tech) to investigate issues and identify solutionsYou will needData Manipulation (Microsoft Excel/Reporting)Ability to quickly grasp solid understanding of multiple product systems (custom built or third party)Manage multiple tasks with competing prioritiesProject ManagementGood communicationWhat’s in it for youWe’re all about the little helps.
