From test runs to training rides, there are so many ways to use our products and follow your passions every day.The roleSupport the Segment Marketing Managers to:• Deliver effective marketing outputs, supporting on all relevant product launch and campaign activity to maximise ROI• Create and deliver effective briefs to the internal Social, PR, Paid Media and Ecommerce teams• Deliver effective Retail Marketing, Sponsorships and Event activationsKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the Segment Marketing Managers to develop and deliver successful marketing plans for product launches and campaigns through effective planning, communication, collaboration and project management, to maximise ROIContribute towards excellent cross-functional co-ordination of all marketing activity for relevant segment(s)Where required, work with our key retailers to drive excitement for our products and activity and deliver effective marketing activations which drive Garmin brand awareness, consideration, and sales. This may include attending Quarterly Business Review and Range Review meetings with some domestic travel and overnight staysSupport the Segment Marketing Managers to plan and deliver effective sponsorship activities through good relationship management, communications and project managementSupport the Segment Marketing Managers to project manage brand events and expos for relevant segments and optimise the events calendar to drive segment and business goals. The role includes some weekend event workSupport the localisation of global campaign material, ensure all assets are delivered on time and are compliant by liaising with Global, EMEA, Legal, and 3rd parties where requiredAct as a guardian of the Garmin brand by ensuring that all assets & communications adhere to Garmin brand guidelines and are consistent across channelsBrief 3rd parties where necessary (production teams, agencies, etc.)Maintain a level of professional knowledge of relevant segment(s) (inc. competitors, cultural insights, industry standards & trends, etc.)Act as the internal advocate for your segment(s), maintaining excellent product knowledge and driving excitement and engagementWork on ad-hoc projects and tasks where necessarySupport the Segment Marketing Managers on daily duties where required such as:Managing asset localisationsEnsure Marketing GTM updates are accurate at all timesLogistics tasks for events such as risk assessments, staffing lists etcCompleting publisher partnership briefsRaising FOC requests and courier formsBuilding presentation slidesManagement and support of product launchesEducation, Experience, Capabilities and Personal Qualities· Degree educated or equivalent experience· 2 years experience in a similar marketing roleSegment expertise is essential, either from working for a major brand or retailer, or by displaying passion and an excellent understanding of the relevant segment(s) UK and IE market and industry in outdoor recreation (hiking, rock climbing, trail running, diving and golf)· Ability to develop successful marketing briefs and activations based on business and segment needs· Demonstrate a baseline level of knowledge of all marketing channels· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Excellent organisation, planning, and analytical skills· Capable of working autonomously and multitasking in a high-pressure environment· Be proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with an attention to detail· Excellent interpersonal and relationship development skills· Must have passion, integrity, and positive energy· Flexibility to travelBenefitsPrivate Medical & Dental InsuranceCompetitive annual leave, including birthday and work anniversary daysAnnual Wellness BonusLife insurance, Income Protection and Critical Illness CoverEmployee Discount SchemeEmployee Share Purchase ProgrammePension SchemeHybrid Working Model (2 days from home per week after probation)Cycle to Work SchemeSocial events and a relaxed and friendly culture where you and your career matter
