Summary of the Marketing Manager role
As the Marketing Manager you will work as part of our global marketing team reporting directly to the Marketing Director where the main purpose of your role will be to deliver consistent, strategic and effective marketing across the globe.
We are looking for someone highly organised and creative with good analytical skills that is passionate about marketing and can work in a fast-paced environment. We are a fast growing, dynamic business and this is a great opportunity to gain experience in an omni-channel, global marketing environment.
This is a hybrid role that is being offered on a fixed term contract basis for 8 months to cover maternity leave, commencing in July 2024. There would only be an expectation to be present onsite 1 day per week.

Your responsibilities

  • Providing marketing advice and support to employees across our global network.
  • Developing and maintaining brand guidelines and standards.
  • Using design packages for producing high-quality marketing material.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop a variety of technical content.
  • Developing and implementing content plans which taking into account market trends and feedback from the commercial team.
  • Developing and implementing organic and paid social media plans to ensure a continued presence on relevant platforms, in conjunction with the overall marketing strategy and content plan.
  • Using WordPress CMS to keep websites up to date and collaborate with our digital marketing agency to maintain and improve the company website.
  • Analysing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and channels on an ongoing basis including search engine optimisation (SEO), pay per click (PPC) and Google analytics.
  • Developing, implementing and analysing email nurture journey workflows in Hubspot.
  • Writing and reviewing content for traditional and digital marketing, including:

    • Sales literature
    • Corporate presentations
    • Promotional material
    • Trade exhibitions
    • Editorial in trade journals
    • Videography
    • Email marketing
    • Social media
    • Web
    • Blogs
    • Newsletters
    • Advertising
  • Working with suppliers in the design, print, photography and digital sectors.
  • Working with external agencies to establish and manage priorities and deadlines, collaborating to develop new ideas and best practices to support our marketing strategy.
  • Managing and maintaining digital marketing libraries.
  • Developing good working relationships with all levels of employees across the company.
  • Maintaining and developing internal marketing management tools, such as Hubspot, in collaboration with other marketing team members.
  • Continually seeking and researching new marketing trends and tools to further develop our marketing strategy.
  • Providing internal communication support when required.

Requirements for the role

  • Degree in Marketing or similar would be preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience working in a marketing role is essential.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is essential.
  • Experience in creating marketing plans and implementation within a corporate environment.
  • International marketing experience desirable.
  • Highly organised and be able to work on multiple projects at any one time.
