This is a rapidly growing business within Howden providing insurance solutions for healthcare professionals and businesses including; doctors, therapists, hospitals, pharmacies and care providers.The successful person will play a key role in helping to achieve the Health & Care practices’ strategic objectives by developing and implementing a diverse range of marketing campaigns to engage with clients, the media, the industry and employees, to build brand awareness and drive sales. They will work closely with other members of the marketing team and the Health & Care team, our in-house creative agency, suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders.The TeamHowden’s marketing team plays an integral role in the business’ overall strategy, helping to position Howden as a market leading insurance broker.Team culture is very important to us. We have a strong work ethic but we have fun with that we do and encourage a healthy work/life balance. The team environment is friendly, supportive and energetic.The role is primarily based in our Bristol office but will require travel to our London headquarters approximately two days per month. We are predominantly an office-based team, as we believe this is the best setting to work efficiently, support collaboration and build relationships. That said, we have a flexible approach to working styles and support working from home regularly.Key Responsibilities Work with practice leaders and the Senior Marketing Manager to shape the marketing strategy and lead the delivery of activity.
Manage the production and execution of marketing activity across multiple channels including digital, social, email, content creation, events, video, affinity marketing and traditional media.
Manage marketing budgets, timelines and resources effectively to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients, affinity partners and industry contacts

rack the success of campaigns, regularly reviewing and understanding the impact of marketing activities, and making suggestions to improve
Produce marketing collateral, as well as research, copywriting and liaising with external agencies to include designers and print suppliers
Coordinate and produce engaging content for the division, including writing, editing and governing client communication such as knowledge articles, news announcements, podcasts, videos and email campaigns
Work closely with sponsored associations and key service partners to deliver additional value to their members and clients
Ensure the Howden brand is applied effectively and consistently across the division
Share best practice and ideas with the marketing team and act as a role model to more junior team members. Skills & Attributes Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
A collaborative and agile approach
A ‘can-do’ attitude, positive mind-set and a self-starter way of thinking
Execution focused, with an organised and structured approach to projects and the ability to multi-task, even under pressure
The ability to work within a team, as well as on their own initiative
Awareness of design process and the software they use, e.g. InDesign, Photoshop
Experience of website management, including previous use of a content management system (CMS), Google Analytics and SEO
Understanding of social media best practice and community management.
This role would suit someone with a strong marketing background and experience

In November 1994, David Howden founded a business that was literally the smallest insurance broker in the world. It had no clients and no track record. But it did have five things:
