Permanent

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Salary: �40,000, plus �3000 bonus.

Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager that will work directly with the Managing Director and Head of New Business, as well as managing a junior marketing resource. The ability to recruit and manage people along with controlling and optimise results from a substantial marketing budget is essential to be successful in this role.

You will have the benefit of working alongside the current marketing manager who is being promoted to run their online business, but who will also be on hand as a digital/web marketing technical resource moving forward.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Manager :

  • Manage, train and motivate the marketing team.
  • Manage external agencies, media partners and suppliers.
  • Develop, plan and implement a creative marketing strategy in line with the company objectives.
  • Plan and implement strategies for generating new sales leads and enhancing customer retention.
  • Hold responsibility for brand management, corporate identity, and PR.
  • Educate the sales and broader team from a marketer's perspective.
  • Create and develop stand out marketing campaigns, communications, and sales tools across all platforms - great copywriting is a key skill here!
  • Beautifully craft emails, blogs, web content, white papers and brochures.
  • Plan, co-ordinate and implement marketing campaigns and presence for several high-profile events.
  • Reporting of relevant marketing information to MD and provide updates at management and sales meetings.
  • Plan, manage and control the annual marketing budget.

Key experience and skills required for the Marketing Manager :

  • A skilled, creative and experienced marketer with first hand event management experience
  • Excellent copy writing skills, style and flair creating high quality content.
  • An analytical and strategic approach with strong Microsoft Excel and data

interpretation skills.

  • A good command and understanding of web, email and social marketing. (strong internal technical support is on-hand).
  • Experience of database/CRM operation or management.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to drive results and best value from external suppliers.
  • First-rate organisational, prioritisation skills and the ability to stay focused on achieving results.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working effectively within a multi-brand structure.
  • Full UK Driving licence with the ability to commute to the office.( There will be some requirement to travel to external events and suppliers.)
