BG SYNC EV is a growing brand within the Luceco Group Portfolio and is a pivotal acquisition for achieving sales growth as well as positioning Luceco Group as a major innovative player within the energy efficiency and sustainability arena. In order to capitalise on this acquisitional investment, this marketing manager role will be responsible for driving brand recognition, as well as activating demand generation campaigns which can be directly linked to sales impact. This role will work closely with the BG SYNC EV product manager, Sales Directors, and the wider group marketing team.
Demand GenerationMarketing Planning – Create a marketing plan which aligns to the Group Marketing Strategy, to support the sales organisations within the Luceco Group in achieving sales growthExecution – Own the execution, managing pre-planning and activities, whilst coordinating stakeholders and agencies where required to deliver on marketing planTargeting Prospects – Improve tactics for targeting prospects throughout the distribution chain to deliver multi level campaignsIncrease share of wallet – Look for cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within existing accounts to deliver marketing activitiesLead Nurturing – Develop nurturing programmes for prospects engaging or showing interest, to maximise on data being obtained with multi touch points to influence longer term purchasing behavioursReporting – Provide monthly results update on marketing activity, spend and results so ROI can be calculatedFormal Planning – Introduce a formal planning process so that the BG SYNC EV marketing plan and campaign plans can be picked up and viewed by anyoneStandard Operating Procedures – Create SOP’s behind marketing processes that align with stakeholdersMonitor and Review – Take ownership for all executed activities to ensure marketing is trackable where possible and return on investment is reportableReporting – Provide quarterly update presentations on plan, budget and progress madeData Led Decision Making – Use sales data and CRM to develop marketing campaigns which are backed by data led decision making – .e.g. Targeting specific customer segments with EV based on opportunity/portfolio gapsBenchmarking – Do regular customer and competitor benchmarking research to support your plans and activitiesBudget management – Deliver marketing in line with agreed budget and clearly track and monitor spendContentDeveloping content – Work with marketing team to support new and existing product development, looking at positioning, packaging, point of sale, direct selling materials, associated advertising and PR activityValue Propositions – Develop value proposition and key messaging for BG EV Sync so that all marketing and messaging can align to it.Sales enablement- Work on engaging collateral such brochures, flyers, video, animation, podcasts and sales presentations that can be used for sales enablement activitiesDigitalCurrent digital activities – Formalise current digital activities into calendar of activities for next 6 monthsManage BG Sync EV Websites – manage the websites to include content and messagingDigital Marketing – Work with digital team (once established) to increase digital marketing tactics and deliver a program of activities with visible cadence throughout the year (e.g. Newsletters, emails to customers, paid campaigns)Social plan and posts – Work closely with digital marketing to align on messaging and key approach for social postsAffiliates – Develop non-competing partners we can work with to further promote our businessGetting Closer to our Customers (Brand)Work with designated PR agency on relevant news articles to drive press activitiesConduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future productsProvide marketing support for key events, exhibitions and conferencesCreate innovative ways of promoting our brand in key arena’s to position BG SYNC EV as one of the leading manufacturers of EV Charging equipment———————————————————————————————————————KEY OUTPUTSAnnual marketing plan and formal planning behind activities to enable a visible working practice that can be shared with others in the way of updateCreative and imaginative campaigns (both online and offline) to support sales growthBrand growth achieved through value propositions, strong content and PRBudget and Reconciliation against activities as well as regular budget reportingRegular cadence of meetings with key stakeholdersTrackable and reportable activities on a regular basis that align to the marketing planBusiness or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualificationExperience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies and plansDigital marketing experience and knowledgeProven experience in campaign planning, coordinating and executionRelevant or similar product and industry knowledge an advantageExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOrganisation and planningStrategic thinkingResilience and Adaptability to support transformation activities and manage changeCreativity – ability to develop ‘out of the box’ thinking to drive brand or salesConfident data led decision making that aligns to marketing strategy and business requirementsREQUIRED COMPETENCIES
