6-month FTC, strong potential to go permanent 
Leicester

The company 
 
A market leader who has experienced exponential growth globally. They are looking to add a Marketing Executive to cover maternity leave with potential to permanently join their team as part of their plans to grow further in the UK market. 
 
The role
 
The successful candidate will primarily manage the day-to-day aspect of Email Marketing along with the creation and launch of the printed catalogue. Working closely to the marketing manager creating new email campaigns in HTML, analysing the performance through ongoing reporting or by directly interrogating the database using SQL, along with improving the performance of existing campaigns based on data driven decision making. 
 
You will also be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of catalogue creation, from conceptualisation to production and distribution. Working closely with the Analytics team to analyse date and insights to drive content improvements and identify opportunities for testing and optimisation. This is a great opportunity for a person to develop their technical and analytical skills. 
 
Responsibilities
 



  • Diarise and execute the ongoing email marketing plan

  • Understand the key drivers of email performance and identify opportunities for improvements and/or additional email campaigns

  • Day to day email output, monitoring communications and tweaking of campaigns

  • Collaborate with internal Developer and IT Teams; Working closely with the team to support transactional messaging, implementing and QA new communications as required

  • Liaise with suppliers to create and support supplier email marketing campaigns and communicate results.

  • Own the leaflets and catalogue creation process, including the merchandising of the catalogue, QA-process and the optimisation of the audience

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project timeline, ensuring that all deadlines are met and deliverables are achieved on schedule

  • Coordinate with internal and external teams, including Analytics, Design, and Production teams, to ensure seamless execution of catalogue projects

  • Plan and execute retention campaigns

  • Devise & implement A/B tests and communicate the results to the wider company


 
 
The candidate:
 



  • 2 years + experience in a similar role 

  • Good analytical and problem solving abilities 

  • Excellent verbal and written skills paired with the ability to match the companies tone of voice to customers 

  • Adapt in Excel 

  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email marketing purposes 

  • Experience in using email marketing platforms, such as Emarsys or MailChimp 

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud 

  • A passion for everything email and content related

  • Experience in SQL
