Marketing Executive - Maternity Leave Cover Fixed Term Contract (minimum of 9 months)
This a full time role but a minimum of 3 days per week will be considered for the right person.
You will be hybrid based, but must be able to travel to our Swindon office when required (minimum 1-2 days per week).

As the UK’s leading supplier of Property Searches and award-winning software for property conveyancing and legal professionals, this is a great opportunity for a B2B Marketing Executive to join our small, friendly marketing team to cover maternity leave for a minimum of 9
months on a Fixed Term Contract basis. Please note candidates should be based within a reasonable commuting distance of our Swindon office as regular visits to the office are required, and be willing to travel to events when required.

What will you be doing?
You will play a vital role in supporting our marketing and events strategy for the tmgroup business (including tmgroup, Conveyancing Data Services & Property Searches Scotland brands) working in a small, busy marketing team of 5. This is a hands-on role in an exciting, very fast-paced environment, so you will need to be energetic, highly organised, articulate, creative and have the ability to think on your feet.
This role is all about co-ordinating and managing the delivery of our customer-facing communications and business development activities for all our B2B trade, industry, and corporate hospitality events.
We need a highly organised person who is experienced in organising and managing B2B events and can manage a busy comms calendar for customer comms and social media. You must also be willing to learn new skills and get involved in new areas of marketing.
We need you to:
Coordinate and deliver a full calendar of digital and face-to-face events, maintaining and building brand reputation (including building/issuing invites, liaising with attendees, overseeing spend, follow-up reporting and attending events where required).
Manage event kit and logistics process (including delivery of merchandise and equipment, producing briefing packs for sales teams, and liaising with attendees).
Oversee and manage distribution of all marketing collateral, merchandise, and corporate gift processes.
Produce and manage sales support collateral to facilitate new business and cross-sell/up-sell process.
Work with the Marketing Director, Marketing Manager and Finance team to oversee effective management of marketing budget, including processing, recording, and tracking of invoices and expenses.
Work with the Marketing Manager and Digital & CRM Marketing Manager on creating and implementing email and social media communications programme for all tmgroup brands.
Own the creation and delivery of high-quality customer newsletters and product updates.
Maintain and deliver a library of sales and marketing collateral and assets for use by sales and marketing teams, ensuring it is consistently up to date.
Report on success of event activity for monthly marketing reports.
Support the Marketing Director and Chief Commercial Officer with organising internal sales meetings and events.
Provide general support for the wider business on marketing and communications-related initiatives.
What skills and experience will you need to have to be successful?
Minimum two years’ experience in a very fast-paced B2B marketing environment.
Experience of working with sales teams to plan, organise and deliver B2B events.
Experience of writing, creating, and delivering high quality emails and social media posts.
Demonstratable ability to initiate successful new ideas for marketing campaigns.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent planning and time management skills to ensure deadlines are met.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team and assist others during very busy periods.
Strong IT skills using Microsoft software packages (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams & PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn new IT packages as required. Basic creative design skills would be an advantage.
Flexible attitude and an eye for details.
Proactive analytical skills to make the right decisions and the drive and enthusiasm to organise and execute the detail.
Ability to move fast, be open to change, be willing to stretch yourself and grow with the business.
Excellent oral and written skills which facilitate effective and communications with people at all levels across the business, external clients, suppliers and partners.
Experience of CMS, CRM, email, social media, and communication platforms a bonus (Salesforce, Hootsuite, GoToWebinar, Zoom, Eventbrite, Survey Monkey etc.)
Marketing qualification or Business degree preferred.
Experience of working in the legal or property sector would be a bonus.
