Job Title: Marketing & Events Manager Location: Hybrid, London, UK Overview: This is an amazing opportunity to join our client who is a global events company, with over 30 years of experience. They are leaders in transforming industries worldwide. These global events bring cutting-edge technology and strategies from solar energy to aviation.
They are currently looking for a Marketing & Events Manager, who will be instrumental in driving strategic partnerships and maximising brand exposure across various media channels. This individual will leverage their expertise in magazines, press, communications, and PR to enhance event promotion, manage relationships, and ensure the success of key initiatives. The role offers the opportunity for growth and international involvement in training and development. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing strategies to engage key stakeholders, including magazines, press outlets, and PR agencies. Collaborate with journalists and media partners to generate press coverage, press releases, and editorial content for events. Manage relationships with partners and sponsors, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and maximising mutual benefits. Coordinate promotional activities, including advertising campaigns, email marketing, and social media outreach. Analyse campaign performance and ROI, utilising KPIs and targets to drive continuous improvement. Support the expansion of PR initiatives into new markets and regions.
Requirements:
Previous experience in marketing, communications, or PR, with a focus on event promotion and media relations. Strong network of contacts within the media industry, particularly in the UK market. Must be ambitious, creative, and organised. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences. Proven track record of managing partnerships and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Analytical mindset, with the ability to read data and insights to inform marketing strategies. Qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or related fields are essential.
Benefits: Circa £45,000 PA, with performance-based bonus potential (up to 20%). Flexible working hours, with 3 days in the London office and 2 days remote. Private healthcare. Pension matching scheme. Generous holiday allowance, starting at 25 days and increasing annually to 30 +BH.
