In this role you will lead the Marketing function for Porsche Cars GB, one of the most significant markets and marketing roles for Porsche globally.
Taking an active and effective role as a core member of Porsche Cars GB’s Executive Committee team, working with the CEO, CFO and other functional Directors to drive the business forwards and meet its strategic and operational imperatives.Core Specific Responsibilities Marketing and Brand Strategy: Responsible for the development of Porsche brand strength and positioning in GB and Ireland, to ensure long-term and sustainable demand for Porsche goods and services affecting turnover and margin Develop a clear strategic Marketing plan and translate this into an effective annual Marketing activity plan (product launches, campaigns, etc.) Input via Porsche HQ in Stuttgart the global marketing strategy regarding pricing and product positioning and decisions to ensure that they are market optimized and clearly communicated in order to maximize profit opportunities and “protect price premiums”
Monitor market and competitor activity (segments, performance, trends) and derive strategic actions where required Lead all CRM across the business (customer data, lead data, campaign data) driving a KPI based marketing approach
Implementation of Strategy 2030 and any owned/partially owned strategic initiatives as defined Porsche Communication Strategy: Strategic development/planning and coordination of the communication strategy with PAG (Headquarters) via the Creative Working Group.
Customization and implementation of all worldwide marketing campaigns (e.g. customer attraction and customer loyalty programs, fully integrated throughout life-cycle) including innovative new concepts.
Manage and develop advertising / dialog marketing (TV, print, digital media, POS), international relevance due to international GB media
Manage and develop implementation of social media strategy and output across relevant social media channels (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) Manage alignment of dealer network marketing (dealer marketing plans, brand guidelines, CI standards) to ensure effective local market exploitation and ensure distribution of relevant information.
Events, Experiential & Brand Partnership activities: Create and manage clearly-defined brand partnerships and sponsoring activity to extend the Porsche brand reach with mainly multinational companies and with international impact. Manage process and delivery of national events and experiential marketing activities to support the commercial targets through the correct brand positioning in terms of brand image, representation and messaging.
Porsche Experience Management and development of the Porsche Driving Experience Centre Silverstone (18,000 guests+ p.a.) and related driving programs nationally and in the network, to maximize the unique Customer Purchase and Ownership experience and revenue generation.Strategic Volume Management / Marketing budget Leading Volume and budget planning processes including segment workshops.
Ongoing monitoring of budget utilization to maximize marketing spend effectiveness and flexibly adapt to market needs
Other Responsibilities include: Breadth of responsibilities (e.g. Porsche Experience Centre, National Marketing, Retail Marketing, Event Marketing & Partnerships) both on strategic and operational level Translating global goals and initiatives into effective market activities requires constantly high level of innovation and taking management decisions under time pressure Leading complex negotiations and establishment of contract framework with multinational external partnerships and suppliers requires excellent communication. Representing the company in front of large groups of employees, network dealer staff/management and investors, and customers and the media in a compelling and credible manner
MBA or equivalent experience Ideally minimum 10 years Management experience in business of which at least 5 should be in Marketing at a Management level Experience of operating within a subsidiary is highly desirable
Experience in leading and motivating a large team, creating the right environment to ensure team and individual development takes places.
