Marketing CoordinatorDepartment: Marketing and CommunicationsEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Chelmsford - HQReporting To: Head of Marketing and CommunicationsDescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to support the general day to day marketing activity across our business, based at our head office in Chelmsford, Essex. The Marketing Coordinator will report into the Head of Marketing and Communications and will form part of the wider Marketing and Communications team who are based at both Chelmsford and remotely. The post holder will ensure that all marketing material is up to date and that all collateral across the business is consistent with our guidelines. They will produce high quality marketing materials and literature and develop our online presence. The successful candidate will ensure that all approved marketing literature is produced and distributed as required and will need to travel to our sites as and when required to take high quality photos for use within our communications. From time to time, there will be a need to commission new photography and videos from specialists. We are looking for someone who fits with Marlborough’s four core values; to take pride in everything they do; previous marketing experience is essential, with industry experience highly desirable. Knowing that people matter; having a friendly and helpful manner with all stakeholders with strong communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships. A bold, positive attitude, producing quality content for web and social media. The ideal candidate will have spirit, helping to promote a positive attitude which shines through into our communications, with clear use of written English, a professional attitude and good business sense.Key Responsibilities
Assist with the implementation of the strategies which have been set out within the marketing and communications plan
Site photography as and when required including drone photography
Design marketing materials; brochures, magazines, leaflets, posters, graphics
Develop our website, working with our content manager
Manage multiple LinkedIn accounts to help promote our good work
Focus on growing Marlborough’s LinkedIn account, managing targeted campaigns to set budget
Produce weekly marketing reports, analysing our performance and sharing ideas to meet targets
Support our clients, working on joint marketing and communication campaigns
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience using LinkedIn for business and running targeted marketing campaigns
Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Proven track record of writing accurate, imaginative content and communicating across a variety of mediums with excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of web content management systems and email software
Ability to manage multiple projects with good prioritisation skills
A creative thinker that can work alone or as part of a team
