The Marketing Communications Specialist will work as part of the team dedicated to supporting the UK Sales business and wider Sales team’s activities. The successful candidate will have fantastic skills as a marketing all-rounder, contributing to the creation of marketing plans, content, campaigns, events and materials to facilitate relationships with existing customers and support for new sales within target markets.
This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Create and deliver both digital and offline marketing activities and campaigns to support the launch of new products, new customer acquisition, brand awareness and customer retention within local target markets. Work in collaboration with the wider worldwide Marketing Communications team to plan, organise and deliver a calendar of customer, prospect and broker communications, events, hospitality and incentives.
Support and develop local channels (digital and offline), including website, social media, email and direct mail, optimising channels and activities to ensure high impact and return on investment.
Work with Marketing Communications colleagues in other locations to create consistent messaging and customer experience across all locations, while meeting the unique needs of each specific market.
Support the development and launch of new products and offerings, as required.
Work with other Marketing Communications colleagues to plan and deliver marketing research & insights projects, including strategic research, customer satisfaction surveys, market analysis, customer segmentation and more.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting on marketing activities and channels to demonstrate impact. WHAT YOU WILL BRINGA degree in marketing, communications, media studies or comparable qualification , or relevant experience
Professional experience in the field of B2B Marketing Communications, with experience delivering online and offline campaigns and events
Commercially minded, with experience delivering and measuring ROI for marketing activities.
Strong copywriting and editing skills, with experience writing for a variety of channels and audiences.
High affinity for digital communication, social media and other areas of digital marketing
Willingness to travel between Sales locations (UK, France, Netherlands & Germany), as required
Knowledge of the energy supply industry, or at least a willingness to learn
