Our client, a leading educational institution based in Tycoch, Swansea, is seeking a talented Marketing Communications Officer to join their team. This is a temporary position with the potential for further opportunities.

As a Marketing Communications Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our client maximises student recruitment through a range of dynamic marketing communications activities. Working closely with the Marketing and Admissions team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating integrated marketing campaigns across both offline and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing activities targeting key audiences to meet recruitment targets using online and offline methods.
  • Plan and execute specific marketing campaigns for key periods in the academic calendar.
  • Coordinate and support stakeholder events, including open evenings, award ceremonies, graduations, and celebratory events.
  • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to produce marketing collateral, including digital assets.
  • Plan and implement digital marketing tactics to achieve recruitment objectives.
  • Structure, write, and edit content for the College's website.
  • Promote success stories via various communication platforms, such as PR, newsletters, social media, and the website.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing activities.
  • Conduct market research, analyse campaign outcomes, and evaluate data to monitor effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with departments across the College, providing advice and support on channel selection and audience insight.
  • Communicate effectively with staff to ensure their engagement with marketing and recruitment activities.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions team to maximise college applications.
