Marketing & Communications Manager (Digital)Marketing & Communications Manager – DigitalJob IntroductionA new opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable digital ambassador to work closely with the Managing Director of Digital and wider commercial marketing and comms team to elevate Mail Metro Media as a digital-first business via effective marketing and communications initiatives.Key PurposeDevelop and execute marketing and communications initiatives to promote Mail Metro Media’s brands, products and platforms – with a focus on digital, affiliate, commerce and audience dataRaise industry profile and reputation for digital and data offering via trade titles, on a global scaleEffectively communicate key messages to existing and potential advertising partners, predominantly media agencies and direct clients, ad tech and affiliate partners, industry and pressIdentify and secure effective opportunities for events, speaker opportunities and market commsConsistently deliver on a plan to position/reinforce Mail Metro Media’s position as the no.1 media owner to work with for digital and audience data, offering unrivalled commercial opportunitiesSupport global team in digital first comms for their market, led by UK and global operationsMain ResponsibilitiesDelivering digital-focused comms via emails, trade website and other marketing collateralCreating marketing newsletters to improve relationships with vendors and clients to raise the profile of the digital teams and individualsProducing, and regularly ghost-writing engaging content across digital-focused topics including data, programmatic and affiliates/commerceWriting and managing the submission of awards focused on digital and technical capability, audience data and emerging platformsCreating go to market collateral and thought pieces to promote the launches of new digital and data productsSupporting Managing Director of Digital with social media posting, speaker opportunities, panels and content/comment for relevant industry titlesBeing an autonomous leader and self-learner staying ahead of all digital and data developments proactively suggesting content and materials to ensure Mail Metro Media is recognised as a digital first publisherPerson SpecificationMinimum 5 years’ experience working in a marketing/comms role in a digital/media environmentGood knowledge and understanding of digital advertising and the media landscapeUp to date, or preferably ahead of the curve, on current and new issues affecting the digital and data landscape, to proactively address them via communications strategies with key stakeholdersSkillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsPassionate about digital advertising and an appetite for audience dataStrong organisational and project-management skillsEnthusiastic and flexible team playerPositive outlook and ‘can do’ attitudeFlexible and adept at working in a fast-paced environmentPackage DescriptionIn return for their energy and ideas we ensure our people are well rewarded.
