The Opportunity:
Working closely with the Office Heads, this role will primarily support the delivery of our regional growth plans for Sheffield, Lincoln, Nottingham and Leicester. This role will also support their line manager in the business areas they support.
Your key duties will be:
supporting the development and delivery of regional business plans incorporating business plans and sales and marketing plans for Sheffield, Lincoln, Nottingham and Leicester
driving business development initiatives and activities forward, ensuring that business development stays at the forefront of fee earners minds and bring them together to collaborate in their activities across the offices you will be responsible for
acting as a conduit between the local office teams and marketing specialisms team
identifying targeting initiatives and developing go-to-market strategies alongside marketing colleagues
attending and leading relevant business development meetings
working with cross-firm teams to identify opportunities in key sectors and markets
championing CRM, acting as a super-user/mentor and continue to monitor and encourage fee earner use of CRM.
identifying new areas of referral and planning how best to leverage those relationships
researching partnership/sponsorship opportunities and working with the wider team to create event and activation plans, monitor ROI and challenge colleagues to ensure appropriate follow up is undertaken as part of the sponsorship
please note that we do expect the role holder to be able to spend time in these offices in particular and other offices as and when required
What you'll need:
a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with colleagues, stakeholders and third parties
an ability to influence others at different levels
demonstrable knowledge of the East Midlands and South Yorkshire markets is desirable
experience in the use of Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent CRM is desirable

Sitting within the business development team and working closely with our fee earners, we have an exciting opportunity for a business development executive to help accelerate growth across our services and sectors.

We have hubs in Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leicester, London, Lincoln, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon and Sheffield. This role will be predominantly home based with travel as required into Birmingham or one of our other West Midlands hubs
Please note - This role will be based in our hub in Leicester, Nottingham or Birmingham
Our standard office hours are Monday – Thursday 9.00am to 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm. Due to the nature of this role candidates will need to be flexible in terms of working hours; in addition to our standard hours cover will be required during evenings and weekends.
