Moving Mountains® Foods is a ground-breaking British company and leading plant-based innovation into unimagined territory with the UK’s first ever meatless bleeding burger. Since our launch in 2017 we have developed many more Moving Mountains products and are now available around the world in retail and food service. This year we also launched our first ‘MM Kitchen’ in Spitalfields market also offering direct to consumer sales of our burgers and other delicious products.
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant to join our world leading plant-based food company. Whilst our reach globally and in product innovation is great, we still have a start-up mentality, with our talented team based in Shoreditch, and several partner agencies that support us in our global mission this role is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in the F&B marketing space. From supporting our Marketing Manager, to organising events and campaigns, this is a Marketing Assistant role for experiences, willing to assist with all aspects of marketing and work closely with the team learning from all areas of the business.
HOURS:

Full time 9:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday

HYBRID WORKING:

3 mandatory office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Must be willing to commute to office location.

THE ROLE:
The perfect position for a Marketing Graduate with at least 2 years-experience in the food & drink industry who is looking to gain firsthand experience and wanting to progress their career in Marketing within this sector.
It’s a real opportunity to grow with a small and dynamic team with big plans that is based in Shoreditch London. As part of the company, you will enjoy a varied role that will expose you to all aspects of the business.
TASKS:
On a day-to-day basis expect to be communicating with internal teams in Operations and Finance, and external social media, Graphic Design, Events Contractors, Website Developers and Sales teams, all while working very closely with the Marketing Manager, General Manager and CEO of the company. Expect to be carrying out design work in adobe, uploading content to the brands’ retailer partners and brand website, managing newsletter mailouts, helping with content creation and photoshoots, organising and coordinating B2B and B2C events and regularly working with the Marketing Manager on strategy, campaigns and ideas for Moving Mountains social media channels and public events.
You will also be expected to monitor campaign performance across the brand and make data driven suggestions about what is working and what needs to be fixed.
Ideally you will have some experience in a similar role or have studied Marketing or related courses and be looking to develop and expand your communication and Marketing skills further.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Help develop and market the brand across various B2B, B2C and D2C channels.
·
Consult on; prepped content daily from the Marketing & PR team that goes on to the company’s websites & online channels including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and YouTube.
·
Consult with a graphic designer on what will need to be done for online content, merch and POS displays.
·
Carrying out industry research and analysis making suggestions and plans
·
Liaise with external Website Designers & Digital Optimiser agency during brand development stages.
·
Monitor paid Social Media campaigns and analysing campaigns to achieve best return on investment through social media agency.
·
Carrying out regular keyword & search term competitor analysis, updating websites news posts and other web pages
·
Introduce new ideas that will help us attract new customers to the brand either online or in public according to new trends.
·
General support for the wider team
·
Manage customer service enquiries.
·
Updating newsletters
·
Research on Trade and consumer shows as well as organising these events.
·
Recipe creation for retail customers
·
Attend meetings and take notes on behalf of marketing team.
·
Ensure brand consistency across all brand touch points and be able to follow branding guidelines.
DESIRABLES:
·
Experience in a Marketing / Digital Marketing role or have studied a similar field.
·
Commercially minded and data driven – understanding of how marketing activities will drive ROS and provide ROI and commercial success for the business.
·
Understand the difference between B2B and B2C sides of Moving Mountains business and customers.
·
Experience using design software e.g. Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
·
Comfortable with tools such as Google analytics, Google Adwords and understand Social Media Platforms
·
Email marketing experience using platforms such as Mail Chimp
·
Experience in using CMS systems such as WordPress.
·
A pro-active approach and a strong willingness to learn, and a wish to contribute positively to the department in a proactive way.
·
Very strong computer literacy, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Canva.
·
Ability to work alone and manage workload and schedules.
·
Have a broad knowledge of the Food & Drink Industry and have worked on a brand like this before.
