We have a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity available to join our Offline Marketing Team in our Head Office, Northminster Business Park, York as an Offline Marketing Assistant/Administrator to cover Maternity Leave. This is a Part Time position, 24 hours per week, which can be worked over 3 or 4 days depending on the preference of the successful candidate.
As our Offline Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in the planning and production of our Pavers and Jones Bootmaker catalogues that drop frequently to our customers. You’ll work closely with the Buying and Merchandising teams to ensure the correct product appears in the catalogues, co-ordinate samples for photography, proof print media and catalogues and select products for filming.
This is a fast-paced role which involves working to tight deadlines and quick turnarounds and you will need a keen eye for detail when proofing copy, and strong communication skills to make sure everything is in the right place at the right time. Good admin and multi-tasking skills are a must to succeed in the role.
The role will report to the Senior Offline Marketing Executive, and work alongside another member of the offline team, and as part of the wider CRM and Marketing Team.
Key Responsibilities for our Marketing Assistant
Catalogue planning and production, working to tight deadlines in line with our critical path
Planning the catalogue layout based on the buyers’ selection
Adding the catalogue to our online catalogue system and identifying where products can be added
Responding to requests for changes from buying and merchandising team
Ordering seasonal photography samples from suppliers and the warehouse
Ensuring samples are laid out for catalogue and web photography and assist in the organisation of this area
Arranging samples for location shoots
Picking stock and samples for catalogue photography
Catalogue and print media advert proofing
Liaising with printers / mailing house on catalogue upload and approval
Ensuring all styles online for catalogue drops and working with ecom and copy team to achieve this
Distributing catalogues to stores and communicating upcoming campaigns to customer services and stores
Planning and picking products to be filmed for the website
Assisting on product filming days at our TV studio
Working with the social and content team on filming days when required
General administration duties
About you
Strong administration skills
Strong attention to detail and experience of working to deadlines
Recent Marketing Graduate or an Admin background looking to move into Marketing
Good MS Office Skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
Adaptable and flexible, able to work to tight deadlines
Knowledge of GDPR is beneficial
