Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing and Ecommerce Executive to join our team for a 6-12 month maternity cover contract, with the potential for extension. This role is crucial in managing our Shopify store, optimising the customer experience, and driving sales through effective marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce operations, digital marketing, and customer service.
Top-line Responsibilities:
Manage the Shopify store, including processing orders, refunds, and ensuring accuracy in product listings.
Resolve customer issues and inquiries from social media platforms, cross-referencing platforms, and Zendesk tickets.
Oversee stock control, product sourcing, and procurement for new projects, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
Respond to Trustpilot reviews and maintain a positive online reputation.
Assist with financial month-end reporting for Shopify and Sidekick.
Support the CRM team with marketing planning and activities.
Events:
Develop marketing and social media plans for events to maximise visibility and attendance.
Products:
Manage stock quantities and develop restocking plans to ensure product availability.
Coordinate with distribution companies, product partners, and external suppliers to source and manage products effectively.
Collaborate with communication and production teams for integrated ad campaigns.
Monitor warehouse stock control and resolve any billing errors.
Shopify:
Maintain the eCommerce platform, focusing on product launches and user experience enhancements.
Process customer orders promptly and collaborate with the tech team to optimize user flow.
Marketing:
Assist in creating and managing editorial and marketing calendars to ensure timely and relevant content.
Collaborate with communication and CRM teams for product and event marketing initiatives.
Customer Service:
Handle Zendesk tickets and emails, addressing various queries and providing exceptional customer service.
Review growth data and prepare reports for business improvement initiatives.
Conduct monthly reporting sessions with co-founders to track progress and plan future activities.
Desired Experience:

Previous engagement with online communities and understanding of customer behaviour.
Passion for customer service and empathy towards customer needs.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and strategies.
Ability to thrive in a close-knit team and hands-on environment.
Capacity to handle pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
Competence with spreadsheet software like Excel or Google Sheets.
Familiarity with tools such as Zendesk, Google Analytics, Wordpress, and/or Webflow (advantageous but not required).
