Our international product engineering teams are ripping up our entire estate and building brand-new products as we continue to deliver a single platform which will: delight our guests & owners; unify our brands; and create a culture that cultivates collaboration, innovation and celebration.Job summary:We are seeking a commercially minded, highly skilled and motivated Finance Business Partner to join our finance team in Manchester. This is a new role for an experienced finance professional whose priority is to establish business partnering and performance management of Group Marketing, thus enabling high performance of the functions.The Marketing team works across many country P&Ls within Europe. This role will need to ensure insight and alignment on granular performance across our portfolio.We are at an exciting stage in our business strategy, this role is part of our goal to build our finance team to work more dynamically with the business and drive further company growth. Supporting our teams across the business with data driven financial rigour is key to achieving our business goals.What you'll do:1. Business partnering- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, in particular the Chief Operating Officer and the Marketing team. Be a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial insights and guidance.- Proactively challenge and make recommendations on both function performance and key priorities to drive growth.- Keep informed about industry trends and market conditions.2. Performance management and financial analysis:- Lead on the creation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate marketing and customer performance. Agree logic with key stakeholders and work with data teams to ensure data is available and correct. Embed these KPIs into the management of the business.- Conduct ongoing in-depth data driven financial analysis using key metrics to make recommendations and support business decisions.- Continuously evaluate returns on investment i.e. Paid search performance, make recommendations for the team to implement.3. Budgeting and forecasting- Collaborate with the business to develop a clear budget/forecast for marketing by country.- Work with the business to create and own an efficient and effective forecasting models by country, utilising group data and financial forecasting systems.- Lead on the production of transparent variance analysis and sensitivity analysis. Challenge ROI giving optimal investment decisions.- Track performance against expectations and explain variance drivers, own clear risks and opportunities with Group FP&A and the wider business.4. Strategic planning- Develop and own key agreed financials/KPIs on Marketing and Customer performance to inform assumptions in long-term financial plans and scenarios.- Provide financial expertise to business leadership with strategic planning initiatives.- Drive the creation of robust business cases for new investments, working closely with the business to own financials.5. Financial reporting- Develop insightful, regular financial reporting to stakeholders based on developed KPIs.- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.- Contribute to the preparation of clear board presentations.About you:Essential:- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with a minimum of +5 years PQE.- Experience working in a high paced consumer led online business.- Must be self-motivated, self-directed and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.- Accomplished in developing digital marketing and customer KPIs i.e. ROAS targets, LTV of a customer.- Confidence working with senior operational leaders.- Financial modelling expertise. Proven track record in working with large data sets to establish effective financial KPIs.- Strong communication skills - you can advise and present information in a simple, easy to understand, compelling way.- Ability to conduct data driven insights and decision making, a storyteller of deep dive data analysis.- Tech savvy. Ability to adapt and use systems effectively for reporting and forecasting.- Someone who enjoys building a rapport and trust with stakeholders and colleagues.- Positive attitude to deliver on continuous improvements in processes.- Hands-on approach and flexible to priorities.- Attention to Detail.
