The role
As a Marketing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing subscription data and customer behavior to inform strategic marketing initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage SQL and BigQuery to extract, manipulate, and interpret data, ensuring that the company effectively targets and acquires new customers while retaining existing ones. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence decision-making processes and contribute directly to the company's growth trajectory.
Responsibilities:
Utilise SQL and BigQuery to extract and analyze subscription data, identifying trends, patterns, and insights that inform marketing strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to develop targeted campaigns and promotions that drive customer acquisition and retention.
Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to optimize marketing campaigns and maximize ROI.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to improve customer segmentation, targeting, and personalisation efforts.
Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing analytics and data science.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience working as a Marketing Analyst or similar role in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the FMCG industry.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is required.
Hands-on experience with BigQuery or similar big data platforms is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and continuous improvement.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, results-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
