Our portfolio covers critical commodities that are integral to global energy and food security, such as thermal coal and grains, those essential for industrialization, including iron ore, metallurgical coal, and aluminium as well as the energy transition (copper and nickel).As part of our market analyst team, you'll play a vital role in driving the advancement of our offerings. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring our clients receive accurate and reliable data, empowering them to navigate intricate market dynamics and capitalize on emerging opportunities with confidence.Your mission is to:Ensure the reliability and accuracy of Kpler’s global seaborne flows, inventories and demandDraft fast-response analysis to ad-hoc requests from clients (emails, chats, video calls and in-person meetings)Perform specific analysis to improve our product and data quality continuouslyClosely collaborate with the Engineering and Product team to propose new sources to extract automatically and improvements to our data processing (business rules and algorithms)Monitor market news and developments, extract meaningful patterns and detect new trendsIt will be a match if you are or have:You have experience in shipping and trading, or knowledge of dry bulk commodities You have 2-5 years of experience working with large, disparate and/or unstructured data sets (advanced Excel and SQL skills and Python knowledge would be a plus ) Strong capabilities in logical thinking with attention to detailYou have excellent analytical ability, are at ease with working with databases, and have the ability to highlight trends and use complex data to support decisionsYou show a willingness to learn, are a team player, a quick learner, and can work within short deadlines across multiple tasksYou can work and communicate in an international cross-cultural environmentWe're a dynamic company dedicated to nurturing connections and innovating solutions that tackle market challenges head-on.
