Marine Technical Advisor

Interocean is recruiting for a Marine Technical Advisor!
With an immediate start and working from home opportunities, the Marine Technical Advisor will be responsible for providing marine vessel assurance to our client's world-wide fleet of offshore term and project vessels.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of offshore vessel operations, be familiar with industry recognised practices and guidelines as well as holding appropriate qualifications and experience.
Requirements:
Minimum three years’ experience in an Offshore or Marine supervisory position
Senior Marine Engineer or Master Mariner/Chief Mate
Senior Dynamic Positioning Operator (SDPO) experience, within the offshore sector
DP Maintenance training and qualification
Vessel Assurance experience an advantage
OVID/CMID accreditation an advantage
The ability to use Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
The office based role can be worked from Glasgow or Aberdeen with hybrid remote working, however the candidate must also be able to travel, potentially at short notice, throughout the UK and Europe.
