We are currently looking for an Independent Marine Equipment/Fire Assessor to become part of our external assessment team.
Playing a pivotal role, our external Technical Assessors are a crucial part of the UKAS assessment process, providing UKAS with the essential expertise required to deliver robust assessments in Marine Equipment – Fire Protection Equipment. Suitable applicants would have experience in the following background:
Key Skills:
Extensive practical and technically focused knowledge of Marine Fire Equipment
Marine Equipment - Marine Pollution Prevention
Fire Extinguishers
Fire PPE.
Breathing Apparatus
Fire Suppression Installations
Passive Fire Protection
Carriage and performance requirements and Testing standards.
