Marine Electronics Engineer

Your Role:
Carry out repairs and maintenance on various marine equipment onshore and offshore.
Perform surveys and inspections on ships, including radio surveys and VDR performance tests.
Support the Senior Engineer in servicing and installing marine electronics.
Take on other tasks as needed while working independently and demonstrating strong communication skills.
Be comfortable working outdoors and at heights when required.
Your Qualifications/Experience:
A proven background in the marine sector, ideally in electronics or electrical engineering.
A formal qualification in electronics, such as HNC/HND level or NVQ3.
Familiarity with communication systems like Radar, Gyro compass, VHF & MF/HF Radio, and GPS navigation systems.
Availability to work on weekends or out-of-hours occasionally.
A valid UK driving licence and passport are required.
