40 per week (Hours will be 8:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday)
£23,800 per annum

My client is looking for someone who has worked in manufacturing to join their team and become a Contact Lens Technician on a temporary to permanent contract. As a Contact Lens Technician you will be required to manufacture lenses to the highest standard. Ensuring lead times are met and prioritising overdue and urgent lenses.
Contact Lens Technician Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• To manufacture contact lenses in an efficient manner, reducing scrappage and ensuring all lenses are of a high standard.
• To keep a clean, safe, and tidy workspace
• Report any issues or concerns to line manager.
• To clean down all areas of dry and empty the hoovers as required.

Contact Lens Technician Experience:

• Manufacturing or assembly line experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Contact Lens Technician Personal Qualities:

• Education: GCSE English and Maths.
• Communication
• Initiative and Motivation
• Relationship Building
• Team Working
